Workflows now has a connector for Application Integration. This allows your workflows to trigger and wait for integrations, as well as any other operations such as updating Salesforce instances.
Why might teams use Workflows and Application Integration together? Workflows is Google Cloud's workflow engine for application development, data/media/ML pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Application Integration is Google Cloud's iPaaS solution for integrating application to support business operations. As a developer creating custom applications, pipelines or automations using Workflows, you may want to integrate with business processes and many business systems supported through Integration Connectors. In these cases, you can use Application Integration to implement the business process and integration for use within your workflows.
